Furthermore, it continuously adds moisture to the already humid air, potentially causing excessive humidity levels indoors, making people feel even hotter and more uncomfortable, and even potentially leading to mold growth and other problems.

If you live in a humid area and your primary goal is to significantly reduce indoor temperatures, a traditional air conditioner may be a better choice. While the initial investment and operating costs may be higher, its stable cooling and dehumidification capabilities can provide real comfort.
